During our long absence, a new area of shrubs appeared in Jubilee Park:

And at some point the waterfall started working again:

It's the time of the year when trees sporting pink, white, and mauve flowers are everywhere:

And the sunsets have been spectacular of late:

We're still regularly coming across the remains of Hungry Ghost offerings:

But we're all starting to look forward to mooncakes now... We haven't bought ours yet, an omission that must be put right PDQ.

On the culinary front, I talked about the Verinice Cafe the other week. Having -- as I promised -- ordered some more of their dishes for home consumption, I was able to photograph their awesome two-way tofu and kailan:

Indah, one of our favourite Kuching coffee spots, also does bulk packs of yummy food for home delivery, which we tried out for the first time this week:

And we paid another visit to The Granary. We'd had a wasted trip to the hospital, and a very hot (if scenic) walk home, so a glass of chilled white in the late afternoon, in a big, quiet, airy space, seemed like a really, really nice thing.
