With the CMCO lifted, we're (cautiously) heading off on our longest trip since -- well, unquestionably the longest since we got back, and depending on how you define "trip", possibly the longest since January.
Pre-CMCO we'd already had a couple of nights away, on two separate journeys. But this time we're heading off for seven whole nights, and it all feels very unwonted and adventurous.
Still within our state, of course. Going anywhere else is next to impossible at the moment. But we're going where we've never been before, and that's really such a refreshing thing at the moment.
