We've not done much of note this week.
We tried out two eateries that were new to us. The first was The House, which is just down from the
Sung Heng Cafe:
One stall offers, among other things, Heng Hua noodles
Another stall offers
ding bian hu, which I absolutely love, and which we've not had since our 2019 visit to
SibuThe second was Kampung Grandma, which offers nice food but at rather elevated prices, we thought:
A somewhat small dish of prawns for the money, we felt...
This was better value. The chicken arrives standing upright, impaled on a metal rod. Our neighbours on the next-door table set about it as was, with their fingers, but we bottled out, and asked for ours to be chopped up...
