Bureaucracy features heavily in the February review I put up yesterday, so I don't want to say too much more about that topic. But it has kind of dominated the week. Since Monday, for a variety of administrative purposes, we've visited two copy-shops, the post office, the public hospital (to have our MM2H medicals endorsed), and a lawyer's office.
Mercifully, there have been other things...
The fifteenth day of Chinese New Year, Chap Goh Meh, was celebrated on Saturday, bringing the colourful festivites to an end for this year. But never mind! Ramadan and Hari Raya are just around the corner!

Nam Seng always does great kolo mee, but we rarely catch them open. When we happened to be cruising by on Sunday, and spotted they were serving, we abandoned our original breakfast plans, and tucked into this truly awesome kolo mee special
A somewhat tedious wait at the public hospital necessitated a cheesecake reward at Zoey's, where there's some new artwork

Uh oh, caught in the rain again...
But there was a silver lining. We dived back into Fu Yu, but tried a different stall, which served home-made fish noodles. That's not noodles WITH fish, but noodles MADE OF fish. Not over-fishy, and surprisingly filling, they had a good texture, and came with a tasty broth and some excellent dumplings...
