October is not proving to be the nice soft cuddly month I was hoping for.

BUT reasons for gratitude are not lacking:

1. The sick family member we were worried about is out of hospital, and recovering well at home.
2. There are blue, blue, BLUE days like the one above.
3. The other Tern seems to be shaking off the lurgy that laid him low last week.
4. The first session of my root canal treatment went well (one down, two to go).
5. There are people to fix things:


6. There are cannonball trees:


7. There are munias:


8. There are banana flowers:


9. And everything is green, green, GREEN:







Could be a whole lot worse.
