The air pollution that I talked about in my monthly review continues to be a real nuisance.
The Air Quality Index was showing nothing good on Friday 1, so it turned into a mall day... Vivacity, to be precise, because it's big, and you can get lots of steps in. Actually, we had lunch and coffee across the road first, and then did a tour of the floors, popping in at Uniqlo, Watsons, and DAISO!

There was a slight respite on Saturday 2, because we had some rain overnight:

The most delectable mango cheese tarts from Indah. Mangos from their back garden. Thoroughly recommendable
Sunday 3 was foul. We usually relish our Sunday early-morning walk, when the roads are quiet, but today we didn't go out at all. Cleaning is good exercise, though...
This is Borneo. Just look at that horrible patch of burning at the bottom, and the way the winds are blowing in our direction...
When you're cleaning, you have to order in food. You can't clean AND cook... This is kacangma from Good Taste Claypot at the Podium. Delicious. Fabulous broth. And the tofu-and-veggies and salted-fish-eggplant dishes were good too
Monday 4. Uh-oh:
So... another mall day coming up... Vivacity again. This time we coveted lots of stuffed toys (but staunchly didn't buy any), and kicked off our mooncake purchases:

Tuesday 5. Still crap. Anything above 100 is unhealthy, and we're on 145!!
Finished the cleaning...
This really sucks... The air reeks of smoke. All the colour is drained out of everything. You just don't want to be outside...
Soooo hoping we'll get rain soon...
