I won't even attempt to disentangle this week. Its themes are very much the same as those of the last couple of weeks, and it's all beginning to feel a bit amorphous.

We are ticking the jobs off our list. We really are. And some jobs turn out to be easier than expected (talking to the building manager about moving, for example: "Oh, just tell the guards on the day..."). But new jobs seem to just sprout of their own accord.

And today I succeeded in creating two whole new tasks. First, the heat resistant mat stuck to the bottom of the baking tray I was returning to the oven, which I didn't notice until said mat had dropped off onto the element... So then we had to clean the oven (not to mention throw away the mat). And when I made pancakes later, I accidentally clouted the bowl, catapulting mixture over the kitchen floor, which then had to be mopped. Good GRIEF. At least most of the pancake mix survived.

Meanwhile, I really think the weather needs counselling, because its moodswings are definitely getting worse. We've gone from wet (and so windy that our big flag got ripped from its flagpole) to hot (and even smoky) and back again. Today was wet THEN hot. Jeez...

Anyway, here are some pictures. Nice, calming pictures:

And that's pretty much it. Because you don't want to know about sorting the last of the cupboards, and lubricating the balcony chairs, and cleaning the balcony, and waterproofing our boots, and printing documentation, etc, etc, endlessly etc.

But we're nearly there... In a week's time, we should be done. And normal service, I hope, will be resumed.
