I talked about the What About Kuching festival a little while ago.
Since then we've tracked down one or two more exhibitions, but we've had more misses than hits, I would say.
There were supposed to be a couple of things on at the Plaza Merdeka mall. We found only the one with the QR codes. I think you're supposed to beam into the codes, and get pictures of the same site in different eras, but to be honest, we're not huge QR-code people:
A bit more yarn bombing has happened off Jalan Carpenter. I'm very taken with this quirky form of urban art:
We'd read about an exhibition at HAUS, but when we went, we couldn't find anything. It's a nice building, though, and seems to host interesting events:
We've enjoyed what we've managed to see. Covid numbers are not high here at the moment, but we're still a little shy of spending prolonged periods in closed spaces. For that reason, we didn't go to the Japanese Film Festival, which had also been rolled into WAK.
Looking forward to having more confidence next year.
